About Me

My photo
I'm a little dog with a HUGE Doganality. I was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon. I was dropped off at the Humane Society when I was a tiny pup, but was adopted and moved to the big city of Portland! I'm half German Shepherd, half huskie and go go go all the time!

Last swim of the year?

I hope not! So much for the rainy weather we were supposed to have this week, it is beautiful and sunny! You know what that means, lots of swimming in the doggie pool at the dog park! Who cares if it is gross, brown water, it is still fun! And to be honest, I like to pee in it anyway, so J refills the pool about 5 times while we are there. I even taught some other dogs to swim, I just make it look like so much fun!I don't care if it is 40 degrees outside, I'm a true northern dog, the colder the better!

J finally sent back to the Klamath Humane Society the small crate that they transported me to Portland in. It is so small and I am so big! I got kind of excited when I saw it, it seems like only yesterday I came to Portland in that! How does it go so fast? I don't even remember being so small. I tried to get into the crate, but was to big. After all, I am a big dog now . . .

Well kind of. Sometimes I still throw temper tantrums and turn into Keela Monster. In fact, that happened today at the dark park. I had to have a time out in front of a lot of people and dogs. It was really embarrassing, and I was pretty mad. But, I got to play after and snooze all day while J worked. We had a fun night - I got to play for almost an hour in the tennis courts in the dark and then we got to do my favorite thing . . . go through a drive thru and get cheeseburgers!

so many dog parks, so little time

It was cold today, really cold. Which means I was extra hyper this morning and ready to hit the dog park! Played with my usual friends, same old same old.

Slept most of the day, but was rearing to go in the afternoon! I got to go to a different dog park in the afternoon with my aunt, which was really cool! I had to stay home alone at night, which I hate, until my person came home from a late meeting. It was cool though because I got the bacon off of her sandwhich that she brought home! Time for bed now.
